Production Master 2.311 is a self-propelled long-hole drilling rig designed for drilling parallel upholes and downholes as well as fans and rings in vertical or inclined planes. This production machine has a completely redesigned working system based on the standard FM 2.320 machine chassis. The working part is mounted on a movable frame and the drill is facing the operator to ensure full visibility of the drilling process from the cabin. Two magazines, each with 13 rods 1,525 mm long, and an additional one in the drill, allow for drilling a hole 41 metres long. The drilling frame can rotate 360 degrees, allowing for drilling in any possible direction.

Control is carried out using joysticks from the cabin, supported by a large touchscreen display in the central part of the panel. An innovation is the introduction of full automation of the drilling process, which is why the working system is equipped with a number of sensors controlling the settings of the drilling frame.
The machine is prepared for the introduction of automation consisting of control of the system from a control room remote from the machine. In situations where the operator is not physically present in the machine cabin or near the drilling unit, the system can perform a fully automated sequence of drilling a single blast hole or an entire plan, including handling the rod and placing it in the magazine. The operator can monitor and control the process remotely from a designated control room via a Wi-Fi connection. This is the first machine of its kind with such an advanced system, which will enable us to more easily acquire customers around the world in the future.
