Mine Master designs and manufactures battery electric mining rigs — electric drill rigs and electric roof bolters that eliminate exhaust emissions underground, reduce heat load and operate significantly more quietly than diesel-powered equivalents.
Watch the video below to hear directly from miners and operators working with Mine Master's battery electric machines.
Mine Master's range of electric drill rigs and electric roof bolters covers both face drilling and roof bolting applications. Battery electric machines are available as direct alternatives to diesel-powered models — offering the same operational capabilities with zero exhaust emissions underground.
Battery electric mining rigs eliminate exhaust gases from the working environment, significantly reduce heat load and operate at considerably lower noise levels — directly reducing ventilation costs and improving air quality in low-profile headings. The Face Master 1.7LE demonstrated stable performance and drilling efficiency comparable to diesel during tests at KGHM Lubin Mine. Fewer moving components than diesel systems simplify maintenance and reduce operating costs.
Each electric / battery drill machine is built on the same chassis platform as its diesel equivalent — allowing mines already operating Mine Master diesel rigs to integrate the battery electric version smoothly into their existing fleet. Machine layout, battery capacity and working dimensions are configured individually to match the operational requirements of the mine.
