Mine Master designs and produces underground mining scalers — purpose-built machines for mechanized removal of loose and cracked rock from roofs, walls and faces of underground excavations after drilling and blasting. All Mine Master rock scalers feature FOPS-certified cabins to protect operators in hazardous scaling conditions.
Underground mining scalers from Mine Master are engineered as dedicated solutions for mechanized scaling operations. Mechanical scaling eliminates the need for manual barring, significantly reducing the risk of rockfall and improving operator safety throughout the excavation cycle.
Mine Master offers two types of rock scalers — hydraulic breaker machines for standard hard rock scaling applications, and drum cutter scalers designed specifically for soft rock conditions such as rock salt and potash deposits. Drum cutter scaling eliminates vibrations during the scaling process — critical in evaporite formations where hydraulic breaking cannot be applied.
Each mining scaler can be operated remotely via wireless control panel — keeping operators in a safe zone during hazardous scaling operations. Laser barriers, collision avoidance system interfaces and wide-angle cameras are available as additional safety features. Machine configuration, boom reach and working unit are adapted individually to the specific requirements of each mine.
