Mine Master designs and manufactures automated machines for underground drilling and bolting operations, reducing operator workload and increasing the repeatability of drilling and bolting cycles. Selected models are equipped with the Automatic Drilling System (ADS), Feeder Guiding System (FGS) or fully automatic bolting technology, executing key parts of the process with reduced operator intervention.

Roof Master 1.7KA

The Roof Master 1.7KA is a self-propelled roof bolting rig developed in collaboration with J.H. Fletcher and KGHM Polska Miedź, designed for medium-height seams. Its fully automatic bolting mast installs both resin and mechanical bolts, including 1.6m bolts in workings from 2.3m height and 1.8m bolts in workings from 2.5m height, with reduced operator intervention.

Automated machines for underground mining

Mine Master automated machines are engineered to reduce operator workload and increase the repeatability of drilling and bolting cycles in underground mining. Depending on the application, selected models execute key parts of the drilling or bolting process with reduced operator intervention, supporting safer and more consistent operations across hard and soft rock conditions.

Automatic Drilling System (ADS) and Feeder Guiding System (FGS)

Machines equipped with the Automatic Drilling System (ADS) allow the operator to select a drilling template for a specific face and initiate a fully automatic drilling process. Combined with the Feeder Guiding System (FGS), the machine supports automated positioning and drilling in a single workflow, recording operational data in real time to support blast planning and predictive maintenance.

Automatic bolting technology

Selected roof bolting rigs are equipped with a fully automatic bolting mast, capable of installing resin and mechanical bolts with reduced manual intervention. Adaptive drilling parameters adjust automatically to rock hardness, while on-line data registration supports quality control and analysis of geological conditions.
