First Roof Master 2.320 AWK-MH Bolters Delivered to Africa

First two out of 16 Roof Master 2.320 AWK-MH bolters arrived safely in Africa and are being commissioned.

Two-Boom Bolter with Integrated Mesh Handler

The RM 2.320 AWK-MH is a two-boom roof bolter designed to secure roofs and sidewalls in mineral mines and tunnels, ideally suited for cross-sections ranging from 5x5 m to 6x9 m. One boom features a bolting mast, while the other is dedicated to handling safety mesh in 2.0 m x 3.0 m sheets.

These machines are equipped to install 25 mm rebar-resin bolts up to 3.0 m in length. The operator works from an air-conditioned cabin that meets FOPS and ROPS safety standards, providing protection from both heat and rockfall.

A single operator controls both the telescopic boom and the mesh handler from the cabin. The mesh handler is designed to pick up and install mesh along the roof and/or walls across the full excavation cross-section. This setup not only enhances safety and productivity but also allows for better access to hard-to-reach areas.

Part of a Major Contract for 27 Mine Master Machines

This delivery is part of a major contract including 16 roof bolters (model Roof Master 2.320 AWK-MH) and 11 face drill rigs (model Face Master 2.320), all sold to a one customer.
