A tailor made underground drilling rig Face Master 1.7OR for Estonia exceeds expectations

Mine Master delivered already 24 drilling and bolting rigs for the Estonian mines. They have proved to be very reliable and efficient in the difficult mining conditions, which occur in the Estonian mines. The authentic partnership with the customer has resulted in and has been the base for the development of a newly upgraded drilling machine for rotary drilling – Face Master 1.7OR.

This week our company is taking part in the Worthy Parts Industry Auction and Exhibition in Kalgoorlie.  During the exhibition the Face Master 2.5 narrow vein drilling rig is on display.

A new production hall is ready

Only 6 months after obtaining all necessary permits, the WAGAT company set and equipped our new production hall in Wilków. The hall was officially opened on October 31 this year. Built according to the traditional modular system, the investment has an area of 1150m2 and is equipped with two gantries - one with a lifting capacity of 20T and the other with a lifting capacity of 5T. It uses energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies such as gas heating, recuperator or LED lighting.

Bronze medal for Mine Machines - our distributor in Zim

At this year's Mine Entra exhibition, Mine Machines, our distributor in Zimbabwe, won a bronze medal for the "Best mine supplier" stand. The presentation of the new SLP-6.2 (Low Profile 6 Ton LHD) and Mine Scout (Underground Supervision and Transport Vehicle) contributed significantly to this success. During the busy and productive 3 days the team: Rodney Tink, Ray Tink, Peter Tipler, Dave Cox, Bensen James and Tsitsi Makore put a lot of effort into making a visit to their stand a memorable experience. 

Mine Master at the first educational fair

If you ask a primary school pupil: ”Who would you like to be in the future?”, it is likely most of them would say: I do not know. Since it is easy to imagine the work of a policeman or a doctor, it is much harder to visualize the job of an operator of a drilling machine, for instance. Therefore, our company participates in an educational fairs, to show, what you can expect when you become a serviceman of a drilling machine. At this year fair we ‘employed’ a drilling guidance system simulator, which is normally used to train our service people.

Mine Master is a business leader in Zlotoryja region

We are pleased to inform you that our company was awarded a title "the Business Leader" during yesterday's gala in Zlotoryja. The award is given by the Mayor of Zlotoryja to the companies in recognition of their impact on the development of regional business. With more than 270 employees we are one of the biggest employeers in the region and we co-operate with many local firms and help them to grow.

First bolting rig Roof Master 1.8 AWK ATEX has been commissioned in Russia

The first bolting rig Roof Master 1.8 AWK ATEX, delivered to one of the salt mines in Russia has been recently transported down the shaft and prepared for operation. The whole procedure was supervised by our servicemen: Wojciech Jeżewski, Zbigniew Charytoniuk and Zigniew Serwach. Due to the conditions in the mine the rig had to be dismounted, re-assembled and commissioned underground. Also the training of the operators took place underground.

International students visit Mine Master

Today we had a great pleasure to host international students from the Summer School of Mining Engineering organised by AGH University of Technology in Cracow. The students from Chile and Rwanda had an opportunity to visit our plant, to see how the machines are built and how we test them. They also had a chance to try to operate the rig on a simulator. A two hours visit included also a presentation about Mine Master, its roots and product portfolio.
